Interiors

This Umbria luxury farmhouse can sleep up to 10 guests in 4 bedrooms, and there are 5 bathrooms. It comprises of two units.  As you enter the first, you will find a spacious dining room with a large table and chairs. As you move into the living room, there is a stone fireplace and doors opening out onto a large sunny terrace. Guests can also enjoy the television room, adjacent to the living room and furnished with comfortable sofas. The well-equipped kitchen has all the necessary appliances, a large stove, and utensils. In this first unit guests will also find a guest bathroom and the first double bedroom. This bedroom has its own bathroom.

In the second unit, which you access via a covered walkway and a covered terrace, you will find three further bedrooms. Two have double beds, and the third has twin beds. Each of the villa’s bedrooms has its own private bathroom and terrace. The bathrooms all have rain showers.  The furnishings are modern and luxurious, finished in pine wood and light colors. The villa retains original features such as its beautiful stone and terracotta flooring.

 Exteriors

Our Umbria luxury farmhouse sits in 70 acres of parkland, within a nature reserve and area of outstanding natural beauty. Guests can thus enjoy views out over the surrounding countryside from the terrace that surrounds the house, and the shaded outdoor dining area. In the property’s vicinity you will find a herb garden. Guests can pick and enjoy the mushrooms and wild asparagus that grows across the property. Fragrant lavender beds surround the infinity pool which lights up at night and has a shower. It measures 15 metres x 7 metres and cypress trees provide shade. Guests will also find a barbecue and a traditional wood fired pizza oven, as well as a children’s play area. The garden and house are moreover surrounded by a peaceful olive grove of 250 trees.

The approach to the house is lined with tall cypress trees. The surrounding nature reserve is also home to a variety of wildlife, including porcupines, pheasants, nightingales and wild boar, perfect for an afternoon walk. Close by guests can explore the charming walled village of Piedicolle. Further afield, guests can enjoy wine tastings at the Lungarotti cellars of Torgiano, or the renowned vineyards at Montefalco. For those with a sweet tooth, the Perugina factory is also nearby, perfect for a child-friendly afternoon making delicious baci chocolates! For day trips, the pretty towns of Todi and Perugia are 10 and 20 minutes away respectively by car.

Horseback riding, tennis court rental, private tours and bicycle hire can be arranged.
