Interiors

The Barco villa consists of a stately Main House, a fully equipped Guest Cottage and a romantic garden.

Main House

On the ground floor guests will find a spacious kitchen with an enclosed breakfast area providing access to the courtyard, the dining room and the dining terrace. The dining room has a romantic fireplace and luminous glass doors linking the main house to further accommodation. Furthermore, another common area is the arched double cube sitting room with a fireplace.

On the same floor, guest can find two double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom, one room with two bunk beds and a sharing bathroom, a guest toilet and a laundry room. The latter is equipped with a washing machine, a dryer and an ironing machine.

The spacious master bedroom with an ensuite bathroom is located on the first floor. On the same floor Guests will find a study room, a sitting room with a private fireplace, and two double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first floor can be individually accessed with a staircase from the courtyard. On a similar note, further two rooms on the first floor can be accessed separately: a bedroom with two bunk beds and a double bedroom with a sharing shower room.

Guest Cottage

The Guest Cottage, on request, is independent to the Main House. It offers a large open-plan sitting room with an enclosed kitchen and dining area, an open-plan double bedroom with a large ensuite shower room and a separate toilet and a covered outdoor sitting and dining area.

On the mezzanine level a study area and a guest shower room can be found.

Exteriors

Villa Barcos’ exterior provides all the amenities needed to fully live the beautiful and green outside area.

Outdoor seating opportunities are provided by: the large dining table seating up to 12 guest, the breakfast table in the courtyard and the rose covered gazebo ensuring breathtaking views. For a maximum comfort a traditional bread oven, the infinity pool with underwater lighting overlooking the valley, a travertine and mosaic spa bath and outdoor kitchen facilities are at guests’ private disposal.

A parking area for 2 cars is at the entrance of the Villa, with an illuminated private path leading up to the house.

Location

Reschio farmhouses are sanctuaries hidden from the outside world, part of a thriving, working estate with its stables, winery, olive groves, clay pigeon shoots, tennis courts and private ‘Osteria and Bottega’. These estates are one of a kind, providing numerous activities like: private horse riding lessons, morning hikes through the quiets hills, private one-to-one pasta-making lessons and wine tastings hosted by local wine experts. On top of the on-site activities, the knowledgeable estate office can arrange mountain bike tours, painting classes, art history excursions to Chianti vineyards or ancient towns of Umbria and Tuscany.
