Interiors

This beautiful Pienza swimming pool villa can sleep up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms. There are also 6 en suite bathrooms. The owners renovated the property using original materials from the local area, including old beams, bricks and oak flooring. On the ground floor there are two living rooms, where you will find an open fireplace, a billiard table and comfortable sofas. The countryside views from this room are breathtaking. There is also a bookcase, sound system and Satellite TV with DVD player. Guests can access a small kitchen from here, and there is also a double bedroom with a large double bed. It has an en suite bathroom with double shower. Through large glass doors guests will find another living space with a mezzanine area. There is a second, larger kitchen which is fully equipped with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and wooden table seating up to 12. This kitchen leads out onto a big patio. Furthermore, there is another bedroom here with a double bed and en suite with a bathtub with hydromassage function. Finally there is a third double bedroom with its own bathroom.

On the first floor of this Pienza swimming pool villa guests will find another two double bedrooms with bathroom with shower as well as a sitting area. The final double bedroom has an antique king-size bed and a large bath tub with hydromassage function. This bedroom also has a private bathroom with shower. On this floor guests will also find a little terrace with lovely views out over the Val d’Orcia.

The villa also features a gym room with tatami, pilates balls, Swedish backstay, boxing pungyball and other training items. Close to the gym room is the laundry room with washing machine and dryer.

Exteriors

The owners have renovated this Pienza swimming pool villa in a romantic and authentic style that reflects the wild beauty of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. They used original and reclaimed materials to achieve this. Guests can relax in a beautiful garden, fragrant with lavender and white roses. The villa features a private heated swimming pool, with salt and ecologic cleaning (measuring 4 x 18 metres). Close to the pool is a dressing room with bath, shower and massage table. The exteriors also feature a furnished terrace perfect for al fresco lunches and dinners, a charming courtyard and a vegetable garden.

Location

Pienza is a pretty hilltop town in the province of Siena, Tuscany. It is in the Val d’Orcia area, close to both Montepulciano and Montalcino. Pienza itself is a charming destination for a day trip, for both foodies and history lovers. The architecture of the town is stunning, with the cathedral and the Palazzo Piccolomini the main attractions. You can also get a taste for local cuisine by trying their fresh handmade pasta (pici) with Pecorino cheese and black pepper sauce (cacio e pepe). Close by guests can also explore the hot springs of Bagno Vignoni and and the medieval village of Monticchiello.
