Interiors

This Umbria enchanting borgo rental is composed of five different properties. Each property has been beautifully restored in a rustic Italian style with bare beams overhead, patterned rugs underfoot and stunning décor in between. The terracotta floors are handmade and some of the furniture is antique – but there are modern touches too to ensure you feel completely at home. Across the five properties there are thirteen bedrooms and thirteen bathrooms, each decorated in a charming and homely way with ornate fixtures and fittings.

The property also features a sauna and a XII century deconsecrated chapel, nowadays converted into a meeting space. On request, guests can also organize common dinners in this space (the kitchen of this structure is reserved for professional use).
The chapel, however, is an independent property with another 2 bedrooms inside. It can be rented separately to independent tenants.

Exteriors

The five properties are far enough away from each other to ensure peace and quiet when you want it, but close enough to make it feel as homely and family-friendly as possible. Set in the rolling hills of Umbria, the views from this Umbria enchanting borgo rental are something special – there is an outdoor seating area to sit and soak up your surroundings, as well as a panoramic swimming pool (16×8 metres in size, 1.40 metre maximum in height), tennis courts and beautiful gardens. On top of this is a sauna to relax in, and a BBQ area for the warmer months.

Location

This Umbria enchanting borgo rental is close enough to Tuscany without being too close to the tourist hustle and bustle; Umbria benefits from being less expensive but more authentic as well as quieter and calmer. There are market towns and medieval villages, and more greenery than you can imagine. If you did want to visit the big cities, Rome is only 2 hour drive away. The borgo itself is set in 6.5 acres of unspoiled Italian valley, so the views are truly breathtaking.
