Additionally, each room has a mini-bar, air conditioning, a satellite television, a telephone and a safe. The property also provide four double bedrooms and six ‘suites’. Lovingly restored and decorated, all boast antique furniture and frescoes. This Tuscany castle arose in the early 16th century and became the residence of Leopold II. Leopold was the last Grand Duke of Tuscany. Today the castle is still one of the most important buildings in the Maremma region. For guests looking for a truly unique holiday, it has a rich history to offer.

The villa can accommodate additional 4 guests for an extra price.

You can access the property by a long private driveway lined with cypress and pine trees. As you approach the castle itself, you wander through the grand main gate into the pretty front garden which has private parking. On the other side of the grand entrance hall you will also find a fragrant rose garden. Thus is perfect for for al fresco dining. You will moreover find a large private swimming pool at the end of the garden. The pool looks out over an olive grove and ancient pine trees surround it. The facilities are excellent. Finally you will find a Jacuzzi, fitness area, changing rooms and bathroom available poolside.

Our Tuscany castle lies in the beautiful region of Tuscany. It is located on one a breathtaking stretch of coastline between Siena and Lucca. From medieval hilltop towns to rolling green hillside that leads down to the sea, this area is as diverse and rich in its cultural heritage as in its landscape. The Granduca Historic Residence is located close to Elba. This stunning island lapped by clear waters was once the home of exiled Napoleon. Those guests looking to unravel the more distant history of the area should visit the Etruscan tombs of Populonia and Baratti. Furthermore, this region is also famed for its high-quality wine production. It is perfect for a gastronomic introduction to Tuscany.
