This historic Tuscany castle accommodates up to 28 guests in 14 double bedrooms, each room elegantly decorated and equipped with modern conveniences such as en suite bathrooms, mini-bars, air conditioning, satellite television, telephones, and safes. All bedrooms and suites have been restored with care and furnished with antique furniture and frescoes. Steeped in history, this castle dates back to the early 16th century and was once the residence of Leopold II, the last Grand Duke of Tuscany. For those looking for a unique holiday with historical charm, this property offers a fascinating glimpse into the region’s past.
Exteriors
The property is accessed by a long, private driveway lined with cypress and pine trees. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by a beautiful front garden with private parking, and a rose garden ideal for al fresco dining. The large private swimming pool, located at the end of the garden, overlooks an olive grove, providing a serene atmosphere. For reservations requested more than 60 days prior to the commencement date, a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount will be charged in order to confirm the booking.
The balance of the full amount due in respect of the reservation and any additional charges are to be paid 60 days before the commencement date. SopranoVillas will send you a reminder of the second payment via email a few days before the deadline. Once the second payment has been received, you will receive all the necessary information for check-in.
The Rental Agreement will be considered invalid and the Guest will not be entitled to any refund in case of a final payment delayed of at least 50 days (e.g. paid 7 days prior to arrival).
If the reservation is requested with less than 60 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount is due in order to secure the booking. The booking will only be considered as confirmed after the deposit payment has been received and the Rental Agreement signed by the Guest.
In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest more than 60 days before arrival, the client is entitled to a refund of 20% of the deposit payment. In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest within 59 days or less prior to the arrival, the entire rental fee is non-refundable.
SopranoVillas consider as the date of cancellation to calculate refunds the day of the formal cancellation request (received by email).
