Interiors

The Assisi Modern Villa displays a remarkable example of contemporary architecture. Thanks to the large French window facing the garden and surrounding landscape, natural light constantly floods into the sitting room. It also contains a flat screen TV and a fireplace for a cosy atmosphere. Behind the sitting room, you will find the dining area with a large table sitting at least 8 people. An open plan kitchen is also at your disposal. It is equipped with everything you may need such as a stove, oven and coffee machine. You will also find a laundry room with a washing machine.

On the other side of the Assisi Modern Villa, you will find three double bedrooms and an extra bedroom furnished with a sofa bed, each with their own bathroom. They are particularly notable for their modern design, including refined wooden panels and stylish lighting. The three double bedrooms feature a bay window leading into the garden, and one of them includes a spacious walk-in wardrobe. A notable characteristic of this villa is its wine cellar which will keep all your wines at the perfect temperature, regardless of the season.

A fitness area in a beautiful gazebo in the garden is at Guests’ disposal. Here you will find a Tapis Roulant, a cyclette, bench and weights, pilates ball and mats.

Exteriors

The panoramic view from the garden is truly spectacular. To enjoy the landscape, you will find a saltwater swimming pool with an integrated whirlpool, equipped with floating loungers and sun beds. Other than deckchairs to enjoy the sun and a hammock, you will find a comfortable garden lounge with a barbecue and a table tennis table. Shaded by a gorgeous pergola, the outside dining table is the ideal place to enjoy your meals. A Wi-fi connection is available inside as well as in the garden. There is also an iPad at your disposal to control the music system. Further facilities include a private shaded car park, surveillance cameras for outside, air conditioning and heating depending on the season. Four bicycles are also at your disposal.

Location

The Assisi Modern Villa is located on a hill overlooking the Assisi valley. It is just 3km away from the Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, an imposing two storey church, consecrated in 1253. Some of the thirteenth century frescos which depict the life of St. Francis include works by Giotto and Cimabue. Umbria is a region that combines superb landscapes and nature with medieval villages rich in history and culture. Do not miss out its exquisite traditional cuisine and regional wines. The natural wonders of Umbria also provide you with infinite exploring possibilities, including vast lakes, waterfalls and spectacular natural parks. A golf course is located 40min away from the villa, and the town of Perugia is only 30min away. Perugia is well-known for its defensive walls surrounding the historical centre. In addition, the Palazzo dei Priori, a medieval monument, has been housing a significant collection of Umbrian works of art since the XIII century.
