Interiors

Staying true to the landscape that defines Umbria, this traditional country house has been tastefully refurbished. All the rooms of the villa are spacious with plenty of natural light. The living room with cotto floors and exposed wooden beams exudes a cozy atmosphere and features some airy framed windows. The double sitting area is ideal for listening to music or browsing the internet (the Wi-Fi box is located in this room). Next to the living room, there is a family room with a working fireplace and TV (Sky provided). The rustic dining room, with a table for 8 people, opens onto the garden. The well-equipped kitchen has two fridges and everything you need to cook delicious Italian dinners.

The villa sleeps up to 12 guests in 6 spacious bedrooms with high ceilings. The master bedroom is on the ground floor, which makes it ideal for the senior guest, while a further 5 bedrooms are located on the first floor. All rooms have double beds, except two with twin beds. Four bathrooms are available to guests.

Please note that the master bedroom on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible.

Exteriors

Leave your worries behind and enjoy the panoramic terraces and fragrant gardens, rich with olive trees, which surround this Umbria villa. On one side of the house, you will find a long terrace, furnished with garden sofas and a terrace extension with dining tables for meals. From here, you can enjoy views that look down to the pool and out to the hills. The other side of the property offers a second shady terrace with a large dining table perfect for summer meals aided by the complementary gas Weber BBQ. The front terrace is ideally positioned to admire the view of the valley below, especially at sunset.

At the foot of the villa, the swimming pool (12×5 meters) offers a splendid view of the wooded hills.

Location

This Umbria country house is located north of Perugia, on the border of Umbria and Tuscany. The closest hamlet, the small San Giovanni del Pantano, offers a bar and a grocery store. To find everything you need and more, you can reach Perugia, the beautiful capital of Umbria, located 26 minutes from the villa. Nature lovers cannot miss out on the opportunity to visit Lake Trasimeno, just 20 minutes away by car, and golf lovers can practice in the splendid Antognolla Golf Club, a mere 5 minutes from the villa. Two other destinations that are worth the trip (about 40 minutes from the villa) are the medieval village of Gubbio and the gorgeous town of Assisi, listed among the UNESCO World Heritage sites.
