Interiors

First of all, this newly built, flat roofed Stresa Design Villa spreads out over two floors. The minimalist concept, which is the overarching theme of the property, is consistent throughout its interiors and exteriors. Greenery grows on its rooftops and its exterior colors blend in with the landscape. Alternatively, it’s stone front facing the street reflects a more traditional style of architecture.

On the ground floor of the Stresa Design Villa you’ll find a spacious open air living room with walls of windows that open onto the covered patio. Here there are beautiful views of the swimming pool and lake which appear to overlap from this viewpoint. Additionally, light streams in abundantly from skylights and roof windows. The kitchen also has stunning views of the lake complete with a fully equipped Corian topped island. Here you’ll find an induction hob and extractor hood, a built-in dishwasher, an inset sink and a utensil drawer. A unique design aspect of the kitchen is evident in the way the sliding doors conceal the main appliances.

Near to the kitchen you’ll find a dining table seating area suitable for 10 people. Also there is an adjacent relaxing area with a large sofa and 55” LED TV. Its large window offers plenty of light and panoramic views over the pool and lake.

Moreover, the downstairs floor features a lounge with a large iron table seating 10 people. There is also a cinema area with comfy L-shaped couch and a home cinema system. In addition there is a room with a bathtub and hidden washing machine and dryer. The remote control operated garage (100m²) can fit up to 3-4 cars.

Exteriors

You’ll find this villa on a 100 square meter plot with a spectacular covered terrace. Overall, the lawn has a minimalist layout with local plants and lavender growing. Additionally there’s a lovely lakefront promenade and a ferry station where one can hop on a ferry to visit the Borromeo Islands and explore other villages and characteristic spots of Lake Maggiore. Finally, Stresa’s railway station connects you easily with Milan, where you can shop, sightsee, or watch the world go by in the famous Piazza del Duomo. The closest airport is Milan Malpensa at 51 km away or Bergamo Orio al Serio at 130 km away.
