Interiors
The Volterra Swimming Pool villa, proud holder of a prestigious Certificate of Excellence, has a history that dates back to the 1800s as its beautiful ancient structure displays. The terracotta floors and wooden beamed ceilings betray its magnificent past life – the structure was used by an important Italian aristocratic family as a country residence. In addition, there is a church adjacent to the villa from the 1700s which houses a mausoleum.
The Volterra Swimming Pool villa spreads itself out over three levels and can host up to 20 people. On the ground floor you will find and entrance hall, dining room, and a large rustic style kitchen. It is fully equipped with an oven, small microwave, small electric oven, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, and a washing machine. There is also a large fireplace and table, and small pantry. Also, this level includes a double bedroom with private bathroom. Finally there is an additional bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor you will find a hallway with small balcony and five double bedrooms. Four of these have an en suite bathroom and one has a private outdoor bathroom. Each room has a crystal shower box.
There are an additional five double bedrooms on the second floor, four of which have their own private bathroom. The rooms on the second floor are all air conditioned. Finally there is a 10 meter dependance. In here there is a large living room with a fireplace, satellite TV and board games. The villa has free WiFi throughout.
Exteriors
In front of the Volterra Swimming Pool Villa there is a stunning gravel terrace. Moreover, guests can wander the garden and olive park grove of about 10,000 square meters. Also, visitors will have the experience of a 14 x 7 meter panoramic pool with depths of 1.5 meters, equipped with sun loungers and deckchairs. The gazebo pool deck is panoramically positioned, furnished with tables and chairs. Finally, there is also a barbecue for outdoor gatherings and parties as well as a car park.
Location
The villa has a quiet location. You’ll find it at the center of a farm with access to local delicacies including wine, olives and jams. The famous Tuscan countryside surrounds the area. A few kilometers from the villa is Lajatico, birthplace of Andrea Bocelli and the Teatro del Silenzio, a place surrounded by nature that hosts every year the concert of the Tuscan tenor, known throughout the world. From here you can visit Volterra, an ancient city known for its Etruscan origin and its walls, and it is also possible to take trips to San Gimignano, Siena, Pisa, Florence and the nearby coast.

For reservations requested more than 60 days prior to the commencement date, a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount will be charged in order to confirm the booking.
The balance of the full amount due in respect of the reservation and any additional charges are to be paid 60 days before the commencement date. SopranoVillas will send you a reminder of the second payment via email a few days before the deadline. Once the second payment has been received, you will receive all the necessary information for check-in.
The Rental Agreement will be considered invalid and the Guest will not be entitled to any refund in case of a final payment delayed of at least 50 days (e.g. paid 7 days prior to arrival).
If the reservation is requested with less than 60 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount is due in order to secure the booking. The booking will only be considered as confirmed after the deposit payment has been received and the Rental Agreement signed by the Guest.
In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest more than 60 days before arrival, the client is entitled to a refund of 20% of the deposit payment. In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest within 59 days or less prior to the arrival, the entire rental fee is non-refundable.
SopranoVillas consider as the date of cancellation to calculate refunds the day of the formal cancellation request (received by email).
