Interiors

Guests stay in a private apartment in the wing of the Padua Historical Castle. Laid out over three floors, the apartment’s spacious interiors comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. On the ground floor, guests will find the dining and kitchen areas, divided into two rooms. The large dining room features a charming wooden table and a kitchenette with a stove, oven and microwave. The adjoining room also features a kitchen area with further utilities and a marble table. Utilities include a toaster, a dishwasher, a fridge/freezer and a mocha coffee machine. Wooden stairs lead guests upstairs and a toilet is also at disposal. Lounge areas can be found throughout the property on the various floors, and two different wooden staircases lead guests to the upper floors. The main living area is elegant and features comfortable sofas, armchairs and a glass coffee table on the first floor. Another living room features sofas and a TV. The castle’s bedrooms feature on the first and second floor. A total of 5 double bedrooms accommodate 10 guests in 4 king size beds and 1 queen size. The rooms are all elegantly decorated in a unique way and feature antique furniture and paintings. The bedroom located on the first floor features its own private bathroom, the four others on the second floor share two bathrooms. Furthermore, Wifi features throughout the property, and a washing machine is also at guests’ disposal.

Please keep in mind that, although the apartment’s rental is of exclusive use, the Castle’s grounds are shared with other guests.

Exteriors

The Castle benefits from a splendid stone terrace at its entrance for guests to enjoy a drink or meal outside. A larger dining table can be found in the garden on the grass, shaded by a parasol for meals in an idyllic setting. Colourful flowers and plants are elegantly dotted around the castle and stunning stone stairs bordered with hedges lead guests up to the entrance. Down a discrete stone staircase, guests will find the castle’s natural pool, open from 09.00 to 18.30. Shared with the other guests staying in the castle’s rooms, it is free of chlorine and built with the appearance of a natural lake, perfectly merging with its surroundings. Deck chairs and an outdoor shower encircle the pool.

Towering over the estate’s vineyards, the castle benefits from spectacular views of the landscape and the Padua Renaissance Mansion. It’s convenient location only 8km away from the town of Padua makes it ideal for visiting the pearls of the Veneto region, including Venice, Verona and Vicenza. Moreover, for those seeking a more active holiday, the Euganean Hills Region Park nearby offers trekking and mountain biking itineraries for all different abilities. The Euganean Hills also offer incredible wines, produced in the estate’s vineyards and for sale in their wine shop. A golf club is adjacent to the estate and features a pool and a Michelin star restaurant. Guests of the castle benefit from discounts for both, and can be delivered food from the restaurant upon request.
