Lake Trasimeno
A broad Umbrian lake surrounded by islands, historic towns and gentle countryside.
A classical colonial manor from the outside, this Arezzo Villa has been exquisitely revamped. Uniting the classic 19th century style with unique color schemes and patterns, it is a one-of-a-kind novel home sitting amid the unique Tuscan country side.
On the ground floor, guests will find the spacious living room with a classic fireplace and satellite TV, a cozy reading lounge, dining room, a fully equipped kitchen as well as a full bathroom. All rooms having access to the outdoor patio, hues, embroidered works of art and delicate backdrops can be found throughout the property. Indeed the owner’s affection for antique can be admired in all rooms.
Upstairs guests will find the sleeping area of the Arezzo Villa. With 5 double bedrooms with a king size bed and one double bedroom with a queen size bed, all bedrooms have an ensuite bathroom as well as toiletries. The attention to details is remarkable in every single room, where guests can appreciate not only the delicate tapestry that matches the room’s color palette but also the intricate detailing in each piece of furniture.
Decorated with unique originality and taste, roomy verandas encompass the house both on the ground and first floor. The spacious patio on the ground floor is outfitted like an open air family room, having not only a dining table perfect for enjoying delicious outdoor meals but also a ping-pong table.
Sitting outside on the garden, a beautiful 6 x 12 m swimming pool, an outside shower and changing room with restroom make up the sun-bathing area. A spacious open-air kitchen with burners and stove and smaller fragrant garden complete the outdoor area.
The vast fenced garden that encompasses the estate is ideal for open air living, with unwinding views over the wide open.
This unique estate is situated up the hills surrounding the city of Arezzo, at approximately 8 km from the city center, at the feet of the Casentino mountains – the area with the largest forests in Tuscany. Encompassed by green olive trees and cypresses, the villa lies in a spectacular location.
Also close to Florence, Cortona and Siena, the excellence of the Tuscany, guests will be able to experience the region’s traditional cuisine and culture after a short one hour drive.
With a selection of home-made products, such as wine, olive oil, honey, marmalade, pecorino cheese, salami and other garden products, tastings are the to-do activities in this Villa. It’s proximity to other singular Tuscan cities also invites guests to enjoy day trips and a number of cultural activities.
