Interiors

The main entrance door of this Arezzo hilltop villa opens into a hallway that leads to a very spacious living and dining area. These exhibit beautiful handmade terracotta tiles. Here you will find the big open fireplace with chairs and an entertainment area with a comfortable sofa and armchairs. For entertainment, you have a satellite tv, dvd player, and stereo with a cd player. You can also make use of the wall-to-wall bookcase, and armchairs for reading. The dinner table can seat 8/12 people under an original vaulted ceiling.

On one side the living room opens onto the sun terrace, garden and pool through glass doors. On the other side it leads to the spectacular kitchen which provides everything you need for professional use. It has a large central working area with 5 hobs, 2 ovens, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, American and Italian coffee makers, toaster as well as a table for up to 12. The kitchen fills with sunlight thanks to large glass windows on 2 sides. It also opens into a nice shady verandah for dining outside.

The interiors of this Arezzo hilltop villa reflect typical Tuscan style while maintaining a feel of originality, elegance and comfort. This makes the atmosphere warm and intimate at the same time. You will find top quality materials and fittings all throughout the house, with many pieces of furniture that have been handcrafted by local artisans.

A flight of stairs will take you to the first floor with a second small living room with satellite tv and an open fireplace. Here you will find 5 bedrooms. One double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a shower. The other double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and a shower extension. You will also find one further double bedroom with a bathroom, double sink and shower just outside. You can moreover move 2 twins on this floor to make a bed, and share a bathroom with a shower. All the bathrooms have a hairdryer. The bedrooms provide air conditioning, window screens and internet connection points. On the first floor you will also find a small study with 2 computers, ADSL connection and a sofa.

This Arezzo hilltop villa also boasts a unique, ancient medieval tower which moreover offers a twin bedroom. It has a shared bathroom on the landing a few steps downstairs. You will furthermore be able to enjoy the 360 degree view of the surrounding area through the glass windows.

Exteriors

You will find the 4 X 8 meter pool right in front of the house on a sun terrace. You can access this through the glass doors of the living room. This well-equipped area provides deck-chairs and sun umbrellas. On the terrace you will also see a large verandah with table, chairs and BBQ. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner “al fresco” while watching the sun set. A  beautiful garden reaches down the hill into olive groves and rows of fruit trees. At the rear of the Villa you will find the main entrance door with its spacious arched loggia. It provides guests with an oven for pizza, chairs and a bench for relaxing. This set up allows guests to be immersed in the countryside.

Location

This Arezzo hilltop villa lies just outside of Terranuova, in the Arno Valley between Arezzo and Florence. Here you will enjoy an abundance of beautiful landscape throughout the area to explore including vineyards, olive groves and mountainous areas. The surrounding area is known for artisan handcrafting as well as prestigious wines and oils. Visitors can see many examples of rural architecture nearby including farmhouse mansions, historical fortresses, and tobacco houses that have been restored. As well as this, the villa sits a short distance from the desirable destinations of Florence and Siena, offering an abundance of art, history, restaurants, and Italian culture for visitors to enjoy.

Services & Extras

Included in the price of the villa is a cleaning service twice a week. Moreover the guests of the villa have many extra services available. The cooking service and cooking lessons with the Tuscan chef of the villa will offer a journey into flavor and passion, to be tasted with a good glass of Chianti wine. Among the other extras available: babysitter, additional cleaning service, grocery shopping, English speaking driver for transfers and tours, walking tours in Florence and wine tasting tours.
