Interiors

The Pool Country Estate consists of a Main Villa, a Dependance, and a Cottage, and accommodates up to 14 guests in 8 bedrooms. It was designed and cured by Italian architect Enrico Carlo Saraceni, who aimed to create the  perfect combination of both luxury and nature.

Main Villa

The interiors of the main Villa of the estate are laid out over two floors. terracotta tiled floors and wooden beamed ceilings give the house a charming traditional feel. On the ground floor, guests will find a large living room, amply furnished with sofas, antique wooden furniture and a large smart TV. A large stone fireplace and the photography on the walls add to the appeal of this comfortable room. Next door, guests will find a spacious dining room with a large wooden dining table. A fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room are at guests’ disposal. On the same floor there is a toilet.

Upstairs is the the master suite, beautifully decorated with shades of blue. An elegant four poster king size bed is the centerpiece of this grand room. The bedroom also benefits from a TV and an en suite bathroom with its shower and large bathtub. The two other bedrooms also feature en suite bathrooms, and are each furnished with twin beds.

Dependance

By the pool, the Dependance is made of two separate Suites. The first Suite consists of a double bedroom, a living room with fireplace and a Queen size bed, and a bathroom. The second Suite features a double bedroom, a kitchenette and a bathroom. The Dependance’s shaded terrace is furnished with deckchairs and overlooks the pool and surrounding countryside.

Cottage

Guests may rent the main Villa and the Dependance without the Cottage, which features the final bedroom furnished with three single beds and featuring an en-suite bathroom. A kitchenette is also at guests’ disposal. Wifi, air conditioning and heating feature in all the rooms of the estate. Guests will also find a washing machine and iron. Upon request, there is also the possibility of a maid, cleaning lady and personal cook.

Exteriors

Three separate entities of the estate stand in a stunning garden, surrounded by endless countryside. In the garden, guests will find a lovely lawn, trees and hammocks. The stunning infinity pool overlooks the rolling hills of the countryside below, and is equipped with deckchairs, parasols and an external fridge.

Just outside the main Villa, guests will find plant covered pergolas shading a large dining table, to enjoy meals outside. A lounge area is also on this terrace. Guests will find a grill, a barbecue and a wood-burning oven. A ping pong table is also at guests’ disposal. A unique feature of the Villa is its hen house for guests to enjoy fresh eggs daily.

Location

Just at the border between Lazio and Umbria, the country estate stands about an hour away from Rome. Despite being in a calm, secluded area, the Villa is within very short driving distance of some major attractions. Just 15min away, guests will find the Etruscan town of Orte, a picturesque town dating from the sixth century. 20min away, guests will find the Park of the Monsters of Bomarzo, filled with bizarre and fascinating sculptures and the characteristic town of Civita Castellana, both well worth a visit.
