Interiors

Facing the large basin of Mount Orfano, the Villa’s architecture, simple and linear, is characterised by three short stairways in sandstone and morainic pebbles, which lead to the portico, outlined by three arches with lowered arches and Tuscan columns.

The severity of the architectural lines, the simplicity of the system, the rhythmic scanning of the façades through the use of gray Sarnico stone, give the residence an elegant and austere character, typical of the architecture of the time.

The entrance porch leads to the vaulted rooms, which retain the structure and the imposing seventeenth-century fireplaces.

The villa spreads over three floors. On the ground floor, overlooking the portico and the rear garden, are the large living room, the library room, the two adjacent dining rooms and two studies. It is completed by a large kitchen equipped with all necessary equipment to prepare any meal for all the guests of the house. Finally, a laundry room and a service bedroom with its bathroom complete the floor.

Moving up to the first floor you will find three double bedrooms and two twin bedrooms with separate beds. Among these 5 bedrooms, two have an adjoining sitting room with an additional sofa bed, reaching a total of 12 beds. Four bathrooms can be accessed from the corridors. On the second floor are the remaining 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, reaching a total of 8 beds. The Villa can accommodate a total of 20 guests split into its 9 bedrooms.

Exteriors

Surrounded by flower beds of hydrangeas and roses, the Villa’s front porch is accessed by a private gate that leads to a large garden overlooking the incredible vineyard from above. The Villa also boasts a tennis court and a fantastic garden overlooking the vineyard of the property. The private swimming pool (m15x7) is located in the back garden of the Villa.

In addition to its own vineyard, the Villa features historic cellars where the owner’s family has been producing their namesake wine for generations.

Location

The Villa is immersed in the heart of the Franciacorta vineyards, between Lake Iseo and Lake Garda, just one hour from Milan.

The area is filled with renowned wineries (Ca ‘del Bosco, Bellavista etc.) and not far from cities famous for their art such Bergamo, Brescia, Parma, Piacenza, Verona, Mantua, Padua and Venice.
