Interiors

Spreading over 700 square meters, this beautiful country residence can sleep up to 16 guests in 8 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. Three generations of families have lived in this property, imbuing it with an incredible sense of history. On the ground floor, guests will find an expansive living area, with a fireplace lounge space, a dining table and a library. Large windows let in light and also open up to the outdoor area of the villa from this space. Throughout the villa there are further such living spaces, allowing guests to find moments of relaxation both together and alone. Finally, there is a spacious kitchen, equipped with anything you might need to cook up a delicious meal.

Moving up to the first floor, there are 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms which compose the main sleeping area. The main suite has two sleeping areas, the first has a queen-size bed and the second a king-size or twin bed set-up. These two share a bathroom to make up the suite. The third bedroom offers a queen-size bed with an ensuite, the fourth twin beds (or a double bed) with an ensuite and the fifth has a king-size bed, also with an ensuite. Finally, the second floor features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom offers a king-size bed with an ensuite, while the second has twin beds (suited to kids). The third room has a king-size bed (that can be converted into single beds) as well as a sofa-bed, and shares a bathroom with the second. These two rooms can also be joined to make a suite.

This non-smoking property is equipped with air-conditioning, internet and a TV for guests’ enjoyment.

Exteriors

An oasis far from the crowds that swarm to Tuscan towns throughout the year, this property’s exteriors allow guests to enjoy the Tuscan landscapes to the fullest whilst retaining complete privacy and serenity. Sitting atop a hill which overlooks verdant green fields and vineyards, guests will enjoy sweeping views while taking walks through the garden or finding a place of quiet relaxation among the greenery. Highlights of the exterior space include a 25×6 metre pool, which has an open sun lounge area, as well as the ping-pong table and a large outdoor dining area on the terrace. Enjoy lazy summer afternoons by the pool before taking an al fresco aperitivo and dinner. A vegetable garden is available to Guests.

Location

This residence is only a 10 minute drive from the typical Tuscan town of Lucca, and is surrounded by agricultural lands that are protected by the Cultural Landmarks Commission. The odd church spire and farm structure spot the surrounding landscapes, which otherwise remain untouched. Guests can head to Lucca for a day or two to enjoy the medieval town, its Summer festivals, concerts, boutiques and local wines and cuisine in a selection of delicious and authentically Tuscan restaurants. Finally, a return to the villa will promise a welcome respite and recharge from tourist activities, all in the middle of the famous Tuscan scenery.
