Villa Marie Lucca Elegant Mansion | Tuscany

Built in the 18th century and completely renovated recently Lucca Elegant Mansion includes three separate buildings – the Villa, the Casa del Contadino and the Forno – and a large garden-park with a lake, an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor SPA and a tennis court plus a private heliport. Accommodates up to 12 guests in six superb suites with en-suite bathrooms.

Interiors

The Ground Floor the main space of Lucca Elegant Mansion. It offers guests a view from north to south through the living and dining room. The ground floor is furnished with a neat mix of old and new accessories, including original Tessieri tiles, Murano chandeliers, a fireplace, antique and modern Italian design furniture. Guests will also have the pleasure of using the classically designed kitchen with painted woodwork and the newly designed library. Comfort is a priority at Lucca Elegant Mansion. Thus, in addition to the magnificent classical staircase, a modern elevator was installed, connecting all floors. The first floor boasts ‘cementine’ tiles, Murano chandeliers, tasteful antique furniture and marble bathrooms. Relax in the luxurious and tranquil ambience of the intimate lounge, surrounded by three spectacular suites. All the windows offer a magnificent view of the estate’s gardens, the ancient towers of Lucca or the building ‘Il forno’. The top floor of Lucca Elegant Mansion, offers three charming bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. Here, guests find themselves under the original wooden ceilings, with terracotta tiles under their feet. The overall effect is one of timeless yet rustic luxury. In the basement of Lucca Elegant Mansion, the brand new spa is equipped with modern, first-class facilities. These include, in particular a sauna, a hammam, a heated pool with massage jets and a lounge with television. Guests also have access to a special wellness area. Close your eyes, breathe deeply and relax with a professional massage. Or treat yourself to a beauty and skin care session with a certified specialist. All guests have free access to the spa, where they can spend hours of well-deserved relaxation.

Exteriors

Large two-hectare garden, entirely designed and created by Marleen Van Marcke, divided into several themed gardens, each with its own character, contributing to the cosy atmosphere Between them are several fountains, hedges and cypress trees – all set in a scenic panorama of Tuscan hills. The lemon trees, scattered along the central water channel, provide the precious harvests used for the artisanal production of Lucca Elegant Mansion delicious juices, dried fruit and limoncello. Divided into several themed gardens, each with its own character, contributing to the cosy atmosphere. When the sun is out or even on cooler days, you should pop into the magnificent pool area. Located on the other side of the Italian garden, it is the perfect destination for sunbathing or a leisurely swim in the large outdoor pool. Lie back on comfortable sun loungers under an elegant parasol. Relax to the full and sip your favourite cocktail. The depandance is a delightful old farmhouse that can be used as an annex, on request, by your staff. It can accommodate up to 6 people and can be used by guests to sleep 18 and it offers three double rooms with en-suite bathrooms.

Location

Located in the quiet village of Vorno in Tuscany, 10 minutes from the historic centre of Lucca. Isolated location, but with easy access to the main regional roads (A12 and A11) Since the 18th century, Vorno has become one of the most desirable places to live around Lucca. Especially in summer, when the Lucca aristocracy leaves their city houses for rural Vorno with its milder temperatures, peace and tranquillity. Although Vorno is easily accessible from most of the motorways in Tuscany and the valleys around Lucca, it remains a secluded gem, making it a perfect base for trips throughout Tuscany. The estate is 10 minutes from the historic centre of Lucca and 30 minutes from Forte dei Marmi or Viareggio on the coast.
