Interior

This traditional Tuscan villa breathes authenticity. Carefully renovated using the area’s local stone and antique furniture, the villa echoes its original architecture and building materials. The villa has been decorated with its history in mind, filled with antique pieces dating back to the 15th century. This traditional Tuscan villa consists of two floors. The ground floor features a large, open plan lounge-dining room, with a 15th century fireplace, which can host up to 14 people and offers spectacular views of the villas exterior and the old town of Mosummano. TV with Netflix service. There is also a smaller, slightly cosier seating area available for use. The grand kitchen features a separate fireplace and an antique-style oven. The kitchen is equipped with blender, squeezer, Lavazza coffee machine, American coffee machine, water purifier and sterilizier for domestic use to get potable water, plain, cold and sparkling. A downstairs bathroom is located on the ground floor as well as a double bedroom which leads out onto a shaded veranda complete with outdoor furniture. A stone staircase leads up to the first floor where three more bedrooms are located. The first bedroom features a double bed an en suite bathroom. The second double room is slightly smaller and boasts spectacular views over the valley, olive groves and woodlands that surround the villa. The third bedroom consists of two joinable single beds and shares a bathroom with the second bedroom. All three bedrooms feature traditional ‘cotto’ tiled floors and antique wooden beams. On arrival at this traditional Tuscan villa, you will be presented with a welcome basket which includes hand-made pasta, tomato sauce, bread and local wine along with all the necessary ingredients for a delicious breakfast: bread, croissants, butter, honey, fruit juice, milk and sugar. A safe is available to guests, as well as a baby cot and high chair.

Exterior

The outdoor terrace features comfortable outdoor furniture ideal for dining and relaxing while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of Tuscany’s rolling hills and ancient cities. There is also a private pool with Jacuzzi area that looks out over the valley. Under the pool, changing rooms, two showers and a bathroom are available as well as a fitness room. The villa sits in the centre of 18 acres of private land varying in nature from olive groves to woodland. Kids will have at their disposal a slide and two swings in the garden. Guests will also find bikes to explore the beautiful area around the villa.

Location

The villa is located in the Tuscan region of Valdinevole, offering all of the historical and natural richness that Tuscany is so famous for while remaining untouched by tourism. It is an ideal location for escaping the chaos of the city while being able to reach Tuscany’s great sights such as Florence, Pisa and Siena in less than 90 minutes. The closest town, Monsummano Terme, is located 2 kilometres away and is home to shops and all other necessary facilities.
