Punta della Suina Beach
A scenic Ionian beach of rocky coves and clear water south of Gallipoli.
The Nardò Historic Palace dates back to the early 1800s and is located on one of the main streets in the historic center of the town. Built in the pale stone typical of the area around an inner courtyard, it has an enchanting atmosphere. The bright living room and dining area have a contemporary elegance that does not lose its connection to the tradition. The awsome kitchen with breakfast table is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances.
The sleeping area consists of 5 Suites all with en-suite bathroom with shower, each inspired by an element and a color from the Salento tradition. Guests will thus find the yellow Suite like the stones of ancient Apulian buildings, the red Suite like the region’s land, the green Suite like its centuries-old olive trees, the blue Suite like its spectacular sea, and finally the dark Suite like Salento’s traditional terracotta.
The Palazzo has exteriors full of charm and history. The inner courtyard, a shady, green-filled environment, is the heart around which the Palace revolves. Guests seeking sunshine will find the elegant rooftop terrace, equipped with seats and ideal for an aperitif.
This exquisite Histrorical Palace is located in the heart of Nardò, a magnificent Salento village overlooking the Ionian Sea (the coast is 7km from the Property). This coast is known for the beauty of its waters, and characterized by gentle coves and small sandy beaches that alternate with wild cliffs. A paradise for sea lovers, but also for lovers of history and culture, since Nardò boasts a magnificent Baroque historic center. For Palace guests, restaurants, markets, and local shops are within walking distance from home.
Nardò is a perfect starting point for exploring the Apulian countryside, dotted with centuries-old olive trees, vineyards and historic farms, many of them fortified. This land where wonderful oil, good wine and delicious watermelons are produced has a coastline hemmed in by ancient pine forests and dotted with watchtowers. Splendid historic towns such as Lecce (26 km away) are ideal daytrip destinations.
