Interiors

This Montecatini historical villa has been carefully restored using materials recovered from the nearby area. The owners merged together two farmhouses to create this marvelous structure. On the ground floor you’ll find a dining room that seats 8 people, a lounge room with an antique fireplace as well as two equipped kitchen spaces that include a fireplace and pizza oven. The kitchen is fully equipped with blender, squeezer, Lavazza coffee machine, American coffee machine, water purifier and sterilizer (potable water, plain, cold and sparkling). Also, you’ll find two lounge areas, one with two large couches and a fireplace, the other is combined with a dining area suitable for 16 guests. You’ll also find a TV room (Netflix services), billiards room and laundry room. There are two downstairs bathrooms with jacuzzi showers. The living areas have been renovated with a careful eye for details. There are antique furniture and ornaments, antique doors, prints, paintings and Persian carpets. This Montecatini historical villa can sleep a total of 14 guests. Two separate staircases lead to the second floor where there are four double bedrooms, one triple bedroom and a finally bedroom with a single bed. All of the double bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with jacuzzi showers. The other two bedrooms share an additional bathroom with a jacuzzi shower. Additionally there is a loft space that houses two single beds with pleasant views. A safe is available for Guests, as well as a baby cot and high chair.

Exteriors

A ravishing Tuscan countryside surrounds this Montecatini historical villa, including hills and olive groves as well as woods of chestnut and oak trees. Local stone covers the external walls of the villa conserving the original aspect of the building of 200 years ago. You’ll find the pool on a terrace a few meters below the level of the villa. The dimensions are 6×12 meters at a depth of 1.35meters. It has hydromassage, a water treadmill and a changing room with a shower and WC. In addition there is a relaxing area for sunbathing with umbrellas, chairs, tables and couches. To the right of this area this a relaxation area with gazebo and chairs. Under the pool deck there is a changing room, a shower and a bathroom. In front of the main entrance, Guests will find a gazebo with a comfortable outdoor lounge area and the romantic outdoor dining table under the shade of a pergola. Kids can enjoy a slide in the garden of the property. In the garden Guests will find bicycles to discover the beautiful area around the villa. Please note that on the property there is another villa belonging to the owners (about 100mt. away from the main villa).

Location

You’ll find this delightful villa in the area of Valdinevole, an area of Tuscany largely untouched by tourism. The nearest town is Monsummano Terme with 15,000 inhabitants with a variety of shops and stores.  The position of the villa is perfect in that it is far enough away from any city chaos yet within range of many desirable destinations.  It is possible to reach Pisa or Florence in just 50 minutes by train. Other unique destinations include the Giusti Grottos with their hot thermal baths and the Monsummano caves. Finally, there is also the Pistoia hills and mountains, the Svizzera Pesciatina, Romanic churches, and the Fucecchio swamplands.
