Valdichiesa House | Aeolian Islands

Interior

This beautiful Filicudi house is two floors and has a typical Aeolian architecture, so all the rooms have access to the outside. The decor is ethnic, with antique furniture from India, built-in wardrobes as per the Aeolian tradition and white linen curtains. The main entrance leads to a first terrace. From here you can access the fully equipped kitchen with double sinks, oven and Smeg burners, and a second terrace, equipped with ancient Indian chairs.

The sleeping area consists of 5 en-suite bedrooms, each characterized by its own color and matching linen and towels. All the rooms have Pino Pedano quality mattresses, and the bathrooms are decorated with tiles from the island of Salina, made from ancient Sicilian designs. Three bedrooms have a double bed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed and two single beds. The last room is a single. From the quadruple room you have access to a service room with washing machine, ironing board and iron. T

Exterior

The house enjoys a super panoramic exterior, from which you can see almost all the Aeolian Islands. The main terrace is equipped with an outdoor table in the shade of the typical Aeolian portico. On the second terrace is the wood oven. Every corner of this outdoor offers unforgettable views of the Mediterranea and the island.

Location

The house is located on the island of Filicudi, the most magnetic of the Aeolian Archipelago. The locality is Valdichiesa, so named for the presence of one of the two churches on the island, the most beautiful, the church of Santo Stefano. The property can be reached by car, another rarity on this island of wild beauty. The sea, as well as the restaurants and the main shops, can be reached in about 15 minutes by car or scooter.
