Interiors
Local trullari masters carried out the restoration of Olive Grove Trulli over four years, working largely by hand. Their craftsmanship preserved the original character of the property while introducing modern comforts. The interiors feel open and spacious, making the villa well suited to families and small groups.
Contemporary pieces sit alongside antique furnishings, creating a balanced blend of modern design and tradition. Craftsmen installed underfloor heating by carefully lifting and restoring the original floors. The original trullo doors now function as interior shutters, complete with their historic locking mechanisms.
The main living area includes a bespoke open-plan kitchen and dining space. Local artisans hand-built the kitchen to reflect traditional Puglian design, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for shared meals. The living area also offers two single sofa beds and access to a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The villa sleeps up to nine guests across three bedrooms. The main bedroom sits within the principal trullo and connects directly to the living area. It features a double Lago-designed bed with crystal legs, an original fireplace, a wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom occupies an ancient lamia once used for grape pressing. It includes a double bed, a single bed, a wardrobe, and access to a shared bathroom. The third bedroom, located in a separate building, offers a double bed, a wardrobe, and shares the same bathroom. One sleeping area features an alcove-style bed, reflecting traditional trullo living.
Exteriors
Olive Grove Trulli sits within grounds defined by red soil and a rich variety of trees, including more than fifty olive trees as well as fig, cherry, almond, pear, plum, and quince trees. Terraces surround a large saltwater swimming pool with a shallow sun shelf, known as the “beach,” ideal for children.
The pool opens from mid-April to mid-October, with the option to extend the season for an additional fee. Gazebos provide shaded areas for dining, yoga, or relaxation. An ancient outdoor oven allows guests to bake bread, pizza, or focaccia, or to grill outdoors. Guests may also book pizza-making workshops or cooking experiences.
Children can enjoy a play area set within a small stone trullo and a synthetic grass area for outdoor activities. An open-air hot water shower sits at the back of the trullo. External video surveillance is present.
Location
Olive Grove Trulli lies in a quiet countryside setting just three kilometres from Ceglie Messapica. The location offers easy access to Ostuni, Cisternino, and Martina Franca. The Adriatic coast is about twenty minutes away, while the Ionian coast is reachable in approximately forty minutes.

For reservations requested more than 60 days prior to the commencement date, a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount will be charged in order to confirm the booking.
The balance of the full amount due in respect of the reservation and any additional charges are to be paid 60 days before the commencement date. SopranoVillas will send you a reminder of the second payment via email a few days before the deadline. Once the second payment has been received, you will receive all the necessary information for check-in.
The Rental Agreement will be considered invalid and the Guest will not be entitled to any refund in case of a final payment delayed of at least 50 days (e.g. paid 7 days prior to arrival).
If the reservation is requested with less than 60 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount is due in order to secure the booking. The booking will only be considered as confirmed after the deposit payment has been received and the Rental Agreement signed by the Guest.
In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest more than 60 days before arrival, the client is entitled to a refund of 20% of the deposit payment. In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest within 59 days or less prior to the arrival, the entire rental fee is non-refundable.
SopranoVillas consider as the date of cancellation to calculate refunds the day of the formal cancellation request (received by email).
