Rich walnut paneling and locally sourced marble floors add warmth and sophistication, while period-inspired furniture and bespoke art pieces, many created by Rizzo himself, complement the space. The villa’s palette is anchored by calming shades of jade, present in the décor, furnishings, and details throughout the home. A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances, a wine cellar, and a laundry room complete the villa’s refined interiors.

The villa opens up to expansive terraces and outdoor living areas that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. The architectural design features cut-outs in the projecting roofline, allowing palm trees and skylights to pierce through. At the heart of the outdoor space is a stunning infinity pool, finished in deep green tiles, stretching the length of the villa and merging effortlessly with the horizon. The pool area is flanked by climbing vines and lush greenery, providing an intimate and serene setting for relaxation. An outdoor barbecue invites al fresco dining under the Abruzzo sky.
Location
Located in Controguerra, in the heart of Italy’s Abruzzo region, Contemporary Luxury Villa is ideally positioned for both seaside and mountain adventures. The beaches of Alba Adriatica are just 10 minutes away, while the scenic Conero coastline is reachable in under an hour. For nature lovers, the Gran Sasso and Monte della Laga National Park is approximately an hour’s drive, offering diverse trails, waterways, and breathtaking landscapes. The medieval fortress of Acquaviva Picena is only 20 minutes from the villa, while the Renaissance charm of Ascoli Piceno is just 15 minutes away. The lively seaside promenade of Grottammare is also within easy reach, just a 20-minute drive from the property.
The nearest airports are Ancona and Pescara, both less than an hour away, while Rome is approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour drive.

For reservations requested more than 60 days prior to the commencement date, a deposit of 50% of the total rental amount will be charged in order to confirm the booking.
The balance of the full amount due in respect of the reservation and any additional charges are to be paid 60 days before the commencement date. SopranoVillas will send you a reminder of the second payment via email a few days before the deadline. Once the second payment has been received, you will receive all the necessary information for check-in.
The Rental Agreement will be considered invalid and the Guest will not be entitled to any refund in case of a final payment delayed of at least 50 days (e.g. paid 7 days prior to arrival).
If the reservation is requested with less than 60 days prior to arrival, the full rental amount is due in order to secure the booking. The booking will only be considered as confirmed after the deposit payment has been received and the Rental Agreement signed by the Guest.
In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest more than 60 days before arrival, the client is entitled to a refund of 20% of the deposit payment. In case of cancellation of the booking by the Guest within 59 days or less prior to the arrival, the entire rental fee is non-refundable.
SopranoVillas consider as the date of cancellation to calculate refunds the day of the formal cancellation request (received by email).
The booking procedure and cancellation policy may vary depending on the villa.
