The island of Alicudi is the smallest and the most isolated of the Aeolian Islands. Shaped like a volcanic cone, it is only composed of a small port which features two grocery shops, a hotel with a restaurant, a post office and a few shops. Moreover, there is just one beach reachable by foot on the whole Island, a few metres from the port. The island is free of cars, ATMs, pharmacies, banks and bars. This is precisely what makes the island of Alicudi so special. The most spectacular way of visiting the island is by boat, enabling you to the most remote, wild beaches with their crystal clear waters.
