Interiors

This historic farmhouse, recently renovated, is a jewel of beauty and elegance. As in Sicilian traditional architecture, the interiors are arranged around a large courtyard. The rooms are spacious and furnished with care. They consist of an elegant double living room with fireplace and a spacious dining room with arches. In addition you will find a library and a well-equipped kitchen.

The villa can be rented for groups of 12 people (6 bedrooms), 18 people (9 bedrooms) or 24 people (12 bedrooms). The sleeping area offers 12 double bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Ten of the bedrooms have access to the courtyard. The other two bedrooms are close to the swimming pool. Additionally, all rooms can be converted into twins upon request.

Guests also have free access to the relaxing spa where they can indulge in a Turkish bath and sauna. Marble rooms and saunas inspired by the tradition of Istanbul will pamper even the most demanding guests. Massages are available upon request.​

Exteriors

This Sicily luxury villa is surrounded by a former feudal estate of 100 hectares overlooking fields and valleys rich in spring water. Olive and citrus groves surround the estate and cushion it from the bustle of the outside world. Guests can enjoy the saltwater swimming pool, the large courtyards and shady pergolas, all creating an idyllic atmosphere.

In this beautiful setting, this renovated farmhouse is an exclusive and peaceful retreat. The stunning formal garden has elegant fountains, ancient palm trees and cypresses, and green lawns.  As guests explore the dozens of footpaths that cross the estate they will stumble upon archeological remains dating back to the pre-Greek period. Additionally, this property is home to one of the biggest horse farms in Sicily. Guests are welcome to taste the delicious olive oil as well as the marmalade and honey produced on the estate, or discover the romantic church that embellish the property.

Location

Halfway between Siracusa and Catania, this extraordinary Sicily luxury mansion stands in the heart of Eastern Sicily. The villa is 500 meters from the characteristic small village of Commenda di San Calogero. It stands both near to the sea and the green slopes of Mount Etna. From here you can reach many spectacular attractions. These include the Natural Reserve of Vendicari, the art towns of Noto, Modica and Ragusa and many breathtaking beaches.

Services

Included in the price of the property is a daily cleaning service, a private chef, a waiter service at the table and a concierge service. Access to the private spa (sauna and Turkish bath) is also included in the price. In addition, guests of the villa have access to many extras: car with chauffeur, car rental, boat rental, guided tours, baby sitter and massage service at the villa.
