Santo Stefano Design Villa | Sicily

The structure has been recently renovated with the utmost attention to detail and highly original furnishings, some of which were made using the modern technique of creative reuse. The vast property, which can comfortably accommodate up to 14 people, has a swimming pool located in a slightly separated area from the main structure. With large rooms, each characterized by its exclusive design and a vast living area full of character, this villa would be the ideal place for an unforgettable stay.

Interiors

A small stone staircase located in the courtyard leads to the exquisite entrance hall, where minimalist furniture, stone walls, and an old mill make up an environment of inimitable style. The property has two floors. On the ground floor, you can find the lovely entrance hall, a bright kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals, a beautiful dining room with an elegant glass table, and views of the surrounding landscape. Through sliding metal doors you reach a living room with sofas, a smart TV, and an adjacent study where you can enjoy a good book or work; from there you can access a bedroom with a private bathroom and shower. The ground floor also has a smaller secondary kitchen, the ideal space for a snack or a drink. The floor also has a separate suite, which would be perfect for a couple. It’s accessed exclusively from the garden, via a romantic little bridge. The suite includes an en-suite bathroom with a shower, an elegant round bed, and a living area with a kitchenette. The first floor has 5 bedrooms, 4 of which are equipped with double beds and en-suite bathrooms (with a shower and bathtub), as well as one twin bedroom with two single beds in a mirrored position, also equipped with an en-suite bathroom that has a shower and bathtub.

Exteriors

The outdoor space of the villa evokes the memory of a fascinating past. Santo Stefano Design Villa is in fact a traditional stone beam, with a charming courtyard that has been made into an outdoor dining area, equipped with a barbecue where you can enjoy meals outdoors. All around the villa, there are paths and stairways which give the impression of being in a miniature village.

The pool area, surrounded by sunbeds, is located on a lower level than the villa and is bounded by beautiful rural landscapes, typically Sicilian. The area is well-equipped, with a changing room, a bathroom with a shower, an outdoor shower, and a lovely gazebo to relax in the shade.

Location

Santo Stefano Design Villa is located in Santo Stefano di Camastra, which is an ideal place for you to discover Northern Sicily. The area is full of wonderful villages, cities, and beaches you can explore. The property is situated between two of the most wonderful Sicilian natural reserves, Parco dei Nebrodi which is characterized by rich forests, green meadows, and stunning silent lakes, and Parco delle Madonie, which is considered to be one of the most biodiverse areas in the whole Mediterranean. A 5-minute drive from the property takes you to Villa Margi, where you can enjoy a wonderful rocky beach. Castel di Tusa, a must-see in the area, is only 11km away from the villa. There, you can also find Lampare beach, a signature in the area, for the ultimate beach experience.
