Filicudi panoramic villa | Sicily

This extraordinary villa overlooks the endless Mediterranean Sea; it looks like you are immersed in the blue. In front of you is the main Filicudi Port and the headland of Capo Graziano. Moreover, this luxury villa is immersed in the lush Mediterranean green. You do not feel the need to go anywhere else as the villa is in itself a paradise.

Interiors

The villa is on two levels. On the lower level you have very well equipped kitchen with gas stove, grill, oven, fridge and freezer and washing machine. In front of the window there is a table bar with two stools where you can enjoy the first coffee of your starting day. Next To the kitchen there is a masonry table with bench and chairs. It is the best place where you can arrange lunches and dinners.

The cement staircase leads you to the upper level where large patios with amazing views over the Aeolian Islands will take your breath away.

There are side by side four separate large bedrooms. The first one has original floors made by Sicilian majolica from the twenties. Wooden yellow shelves make a shape of a library. An antique wooden wardrobe is located next to the king size bed. The masonry bed gives an original touch to the room.

The second bedroom features a yellow canopy bed with mosquito net. This is the only bedroom with flat 37” TV. A lovely Russian iron stove will catch your attention. A blue chest that contains duvet and blankets for an eventual winter stay.

The third bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. It looks like a living room as the masonry bed is a sofa with pillows by day and extremely comfortable bed by night. There is a showcase in the corner that contains all the towels and linens.

The fourth and the last bedroom has a giant wrought iron bed, from the early forties. A wonderful stone fireplace makes it the most romantic room of the villa. Here also you have a big blue wardrobe with linens and towels. An ensuite bathroom with shower is elegantly made with cement and green majolica.

All the rooms have ceilings fans to give comforts during the hottest days.

In a corner of the Patio you have a third bathroom, The sink with mirror is situated outdoor. the rest of the bathroom is hidden behind the wall.

Exteriors

A private street along a wine yard leads you to the garden of the villa. High palms, almonds, banana trees and bougainvillea frame the property. Next to the entrance you have a flower bed dedicated to aromatic herbs such as rosemary, sage and basil.

All the Patios and terraces are made following the Eolian Architectural with white column and benches. Typical oriental day beds (made by wood and rope) are placed in the most panoramic sites of the garden for your pleasure.

Everyday you will have a different spectacular panorama depending on weather conditions. If you will be extremely lucky you will be able to see in front of you: Salina, Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli, Vulcano.
