Interiors

This beautiful country house dates back to 1500. Brick walls and barrel ceilings characterize the elegant and authentic style of the building. In the central farmhouse there is a beautiful lounge with fireplace, a bright dining room also with fireplace, and a large kitchen with professional burners. There is also an equipped laundry room available for guests. Outside there are two relaxing verandas with sofas and hammocks. All the rooms, located in the panoramic stone farmhouses scattered inside the property, are on the ground floor and have a terrace or a private garden and lots of privacy. The farmhouse features 10 bedrooms: 3 triples, 6 doubles and 1 small apartment with sitting room, kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom. Two of the six double rooms are built on stilts and suspended in the trees. These rooms have a private terrace and really offer a unique experience to those who venture here. All rooms have panoramic views, wi-fi, air conditioning, TV, hairdryer and mini bar. Upon request, the guests of the farmhouse will be spoiled by an impeccable service: breakfast in the morning and based on local and natural products (homemade donuts, croissants, tarts, pecorino and fresh ricotta from Manciano, capocollo from Sorano, chicken coop eggs, fruit from our orchard, etc).

Exteriors

The farmhouse is surrounded by a well-kept Mediterranean garden, with the Medieval village of Montemerano in the background. Relax areas in the shade of trees and outdoor lounges are available for guests. There are two different dining areas outside: one more intimate and one with more seats. The panoramic swimming pool is immersed in the orchard. In the garden you will also find an area with children’s games, an orchard, and on the estate there is a pond frequented by fallow deer. For animal lovers, in the fenced area of 4 hectares around the pond, you can observe and feed the fallow deer and donkeys, and many other farm animals and also see numerous herons and ducks that wallow undisturbed.

The farmhouse is located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, between the villages of Monterano and Manciano. This ancient land of Etruscan origin offers secret beauties, far from mass tourism. Visit the charming village of Pitigiano built on a tuff canyon, travel along the Etruscan Roads carved into the rock and enjoy the fabulous natural springs of Saturnia. Do not forget to taste the delicious cuisine of this authentic and unforgettable land.
