Interiors

This delightful villa spreads over two levels. On the first floor, you will find a living room, an open-air dining room, a kitchen, the villa’s master bedroom and one bathroom. The elegant living room features a double sofa bed, a traditional wooden door, a carpet and a chest of drawers. From here, you have access to the open air dining room, which has a wooden table seating up to 6. A pergola shades this space, embellished by plants and flowers. It is indeed a very pleasant spot to enjoy a leisurely meal. Close to this space is the characteristic kitchen, featuring an authentic Aeolian wood-burning oven and Sicilian majolica tiles.

On the same floor is the master bedroom, with a double bed, a desk and other charming pieces of furniture. Moreover, an enchanting window overlooking Capo Graziano and the sea allows for splendid views. A bathroom is also located on this floor. This room features a bathtub and is distinctive in style, with its bold green color scheme and bare stone walls.

The lower floor consists of two double bedrooms and one large bathroom. The first bedroom has twin beds. It leads on to the second bedroom, which is furnished with a double bed. Arched whitewashed ceilings allow the whole space to remain fresh during the summer. The bathroom has double sinks and a large shower. A small kitchen-corner is also located on this lower floor, and is furnished with a sink and a stove.

Exteriors

The outdoor area of the Filicudi Charming Villa spreads over several levels and offers several impressive viewpoints out over the coast and the islands of Panarea, Salina, Lipari, Stromboli e Vulcano.

The villa’s upper-floor living room accesses a spacious wooden decked terrace, overlooking all of the Aeolian islands. This space is partially shaded by a parasol, and is furnished with a straw table, armchairs and a chaise longue. It is the ultimate place to enjoy panoramic sea views. Furthermore a small garden, embellished with an array of cacti and flora typical of the island, is located just off this terrace.

An additional garden area, measuring 500 metres squared, can be directly accessed from the villa’s lower floor. It spreads over a couple of terraced levels. On the first level, you will find a hammock, hung up amongst tropical plants and flowers: an idyllic spot to while away a lazy afternoon. The second level has been converted into an outdoor kitchen-dining room. An open-air kitchen (equipped with a sink, fridge, stove and barbecue) and a six seater dining table are nestled in an array of hibiscus and bougainvillea and stand in the shade of an awning.

A gardener comes to the villa two to three times a week to keep the garden in its beautiful blossoming state.
