Valle d’Itria Enchanting Trulli | Puglia
“Olive trees, traditional architecture and modern facilities – set in an idyllic landscape, these authentic Apulian trulli offer a fairytale atmosphere. Experience a true corner of Puglia, between Valle d’Itria and Salento”
This beautiful property just renovated consists of two Trulli, the conical buildings typical of this area of Puglia, and a lamia, a traditional building with rectangular plan. You are in the very heart of an ancient region, and you can breathe it in every corner of the property.
The main Trullo, with its three cones and vaulted ceilings, consists of a spacious living area with floors and walls in local stone. The fine attention to detail and the design furnishing, along with its outstanding architectural features, make this space welcoming and unique. The island kitchen, under the left cone, is modern and functional, very pleasant for cooking lovers. The central counter with stools is ideal for breakfast or for sipping a glass of wine while keeping company to those who cook. On the other side of the main trullo is the living area, under the right cone. Close to it is the first bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Bright and romantic, the room has a double canopy bed and a bathroom with double sink and separate toilet.
The second bedroom is situated in the second trullo, featuring just one cone. Simple but elegant, the room has a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The last bedroom with en-suite bathroom is in the lamia. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
The villa is surrounded by a beautiful garden with olive trees and lawn. Guests will find many relaxation areas with tables, seats and hammocks. A cobblestone driveway leads to the swimming pool with solarium and outdoor shower. Near the pool is the outdoor dining table, under the shade of a pergola.
Guests of the villa have access to various services and activities. From a private chef to cooking classes of Apulian cusine, one of the tastiest and healthiest in Italy. From grocery shopping to beauty massage, bike rental, babysitting service, extra cleaning and transfer service, the guests of the villa have a thousand and one ways to be pampered.
The villa is located on the border of the two most appealing regions of Puglia: the Valle d’Itria and the Salento.
Ten minutes drive from the property, guests will discover the charming traditional town of Ceglie Messapica, one of the oldest in the region. With its Medieval center built on a hill, Ceglie is an art town of extraordinary beauty, famous for its enogastronomic tradition. The Adriatic sea is about 30 minutes by car from the property. Other unmissable sites to visit are Ostuni, known as “the white town”, 25 minutes from the villa, Alberobello, a Unesco World Heritage Site, 40 minutes away. Driving in this ancient land, guests will discover trulli, farms, old olive groves and extensive green areas of oak and Mediterranean scrub, as well as ravishing villages and unforgettable restaurants. Not to mention the many beaches of the coast, considered one of the most beautiful in Italy.
