Sichilli House | Sicily
“The Sichilli House provides guests with modern design interiors while staying in tune with its natural surroundings. Right at the edge of the superb natural reserve of Vendicari, it is also within a few minutes of some heavenly beaches and the Sicilian baroque town of Noto.”
The Sichilli House’s architecture has been inspired by the beauty of the neighbouring nature reserve, its design harmonising with the surrounding landscape. The modernity of its structure and interiors provide a stylish and comfortable holiday residence. The symbiosis between the Villa and its surrounding nature is expressed in the choice of characteristic Noto stone and Etna volcanic rock.
Guests enter the Villa through an open stone corridor. A spacious and bright living area greet guests as they walk in, notable for its large bay windows on either side, stone walls and wooden ceilings. The living room features a comfortable sofa, TV and fireplace . With in the same open space, guests will find a dining and a fully equipped kitchen area. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine. It also opens out onto the outside terrace and dining table.
More private, the sleeping area features three double bedrooms, each with their own en suite bathroom. Two of these bedrooms feature king size beds, the other can either be a double room or a twin room depending on guests’ preferences. An extra bathroom also features near the living area. The rooms are all decorated in a contemporary style and directly access the garden through a tall glass door.
Design sliding iron panels encircle the Villa and fragment the light during the warmest hours, allowing for the air to circulate freely.
The Villa features WiFi throughout, as well as a sound system, docking station, satellite TV and an alarm system. Cleaning staff will look after the Villa twice a week and air conditioning features in all bedrooms.
The Sichilli House’s open nature perfectly merges the interiors with the exteriors. On the other side of the bay windows of the kitchen, guests will find a large table for outside dining. An outside cooking area is also at guests’ disposal, with a barbecue. The adjacent lounge area features sofas and rocking chairs for peaceful afternoons in the sun. Guests benefit from splendid views that stretch out to the sea across beautiful natural Sicilian landscapes. The Villa is surrounded by a landscape of old mastic trees, prickly pears and olive groves. These create a peaceful atmosphere of Sicilian aromas and lovely views.
At the back of a garden, a technical room is at guests’ disposal which features a washing machine. A parking area can also be found at the Villa’s entrance.
The villa is accessible via a dirt road with an electric access bar.
