The traditional architecture with pergolas keep this Noto Exquisite Villa very true to the mediterranean Sicilian lifestyle.
Declared a World Heritage by Unesco and considered the capital of the Sicilian baroque, Noto was entirely reconstructed after an earthquake in the seventeenth century and a visit is highly recommended for architecture lovers. Very different from the chaos of the big cities in Sicily, Noto has a very calm and mediterranean lifestyle, being surrounded by plantations of almonds, olives and grapes, and very close to the Sicilian coastline. The city center is filled with churches and museums, as well as traditional Sicilian restaurants and stores. At a short 10 minute drive from the city center you will find beautiful beaches.
The breathtaking Vendicari Nature Reserve, with its crystal clear waters, welcomes visitors all year long. From the observation huts towers of the Reserve, one can only admire the flamingos in the salt flats. This oasis is, in fact, a famous destination for those who love birdwatching, as a variety of birds fly through the site depending on the season. With an area of approximately 13km, the Reserve is the perfect place for those who love a long walk by the beach, a hiking trip or snorkeling, as a dive in the untouched coastline is an absolute must.
