“The Medici historical villa is a stunning stately home fit for royalty: a luxurious 16th century mansion with elegant gardens, beautiful interiors and a large private swimming pool.”
The interiors of the Medici Tuscany villa have been lovingly restored by the present owner, the prince Borghese. His family bought the property over 200 years ago. All the rooms are lavishly decorated with antique furniture and paintings, Venetian glass chandeliers and Persian carpets. All the bathrooms have been recently renovated. The house can sleep up to 14 guests in 7 double bedrooms.
On the ground floor you will find a large kitchen and a grand dining room with a beautiful fireplace. In addition there is a smaller dining room that is ideal for children. On this floor you will also find a bathroom, a beautiful gallery filled with paintings and two large double bedrooms (each with bathroom and their own TV). Furthermore one bedroom also has a terrace with stunning views out over the park and sloping valley. In the final wing of the first floor there is a private chapel and two smaller double bedrooms. Each has its own bathroom. Furthermore, the mansion’s facilities include satellite television, a fax machine, a computer station and Wi-Fi. Several rooms have flat screen televisions with CD/DVD players and iPod sound docks.

Our Medici Tuscany villa is a property of unique beauty, exclusivity and historical importance. This gorgeous 16th century villa is situated next to the pretty medieval village of Montevettolini. It is within its own estate of olive trees and rambling vineyards. It was originally a hunting residence of the Grand Duke Ferdinando I, the grandson of the celebrated Lorenzo de’ Medici. Its original architecture and stunning setting make it an unforgettable property.
In addition to this, the mansion is just 40 minutes from the international airports in Pisa and Florence. It is also a ten minute drive from Montecatini railway station. This makes it perfect for exploring the best the region of Tuscany has to offer. Also at only a ten minute drive, you will find riding stables, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course. Finally, there is also the famous spa of the Grotta Giusti hotel, for those seeking a thoroughly relaxing pampering experience.
