Chianti Family Villa | Tuscany
“This spacious farmhouse villa provides its guests with a homely yet elegant space. Discover the charming Chianti Classico region and its delicious wines from the comfort of this characteristic home.”
This Chianti Family Villa, or casa colonica, dates back to 1085. However, even since 1988 it has undergone two renovations, bringing the villa out of ruin and into its new life as a gorgeous holiday home. Inside the villa you will find five bedrooms. Each of these provides its guests with a ceiling fan and screened windows. Three of the bedrooms are en-suite, and the bathroom for the other two bedrooms is right next door. There is also a large, sun-filled kitchen and dining area perfect for creating and enjoying delicious Italian meals with your family and friends.
There is furthermore a generous patio space with beautiful views and a large barbecue for dining al fresco. Moreover, this property boasts its own well-equipped gym. The open architecture and styling of this villa creates a very welcoming atmosphere. Its white-washed walls, wood-beamed ceilings, and terracotta-tiled floors give it a typical Tuscan feel. Its modern amenities allow guests to enjoy the traditional flavor of their Tuscan home whilst simultaneously relaxing in comfort and style.
Various patios and terraces adjoin this Chianti Family Villa, each with its own, unique, absolutely breathtaking view over the surrounding landscapes of the Chianti Classico wine region. In your own private gardens you can enjoy dipping into a private pool. Alternatively, relax on the lounge chairs, enjoy the calming ambiance of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves. You can access the villa via a gated driveway leading up a small hill to the house. The villa is also part of a 53-hectare estate, and thus has a small vineyard and winery as its neighbor.
You will find this Chianti Family Villa on top of a hill in Panzano. This is within what is known as one of Italy’s premium wine regions, the Chianti Classico. The winery Monte Bernardi can be found within the same estate as the villa. Panzano itself offers small shops, wine bars and the internationally known butcher, Dario Cecchini. We recommend heading here over a weekend, when you will find delightful markets selling fresh produce. Alternatively, once a month you can find a beautiful market of antiques and local artwork. There are also plenty of local restaurants and vineyards that will welcome the villa’s guests. Of course, the villa’s location in Tuscany is a draw in itself. Exquisite restaurants are a short drive away, such as Osteria Le Panzanelle, Il Vescovino, and Officina della Bistecca.
