The Bernini Historic Residence is entirely furnished with antique furniture and paintings in order to remain true to its heritage. This magical property allows its guests to enter in an authentic aristocratic setting as soon as they step inside thanks to its spectacular decor.
This 500 square meter large historic villa accommodates up to 12 people.
It is composed of 3 floors where the ground floor consists of a spacious entrance, 4 elegantly furnished living rooms with captivating frescoes and wooden floors, a charming library full of important literature, a sumptuous dining room, a traditional kitchen and a guest bathroom. Several rooms have gorgeous marble fireplaces.
All the bedrooms are located on the first and second floors and they are equally exquisitely furnished while preserving their unique appeal. The utmost is provided in terms of comfort and privacy. The first floor hosts a vast living room where each detail, from the chandeliers to the carpets, has been carefully chosen. The TV room is accessible straight from the living room. There is a spacious double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom overlooking the garden. A single room with a queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom is also situated on this floor.
The second floor sleeps up to 8 people in its 4 uniquely charming bedrooms.
There are 2 double bedrooms, a twin bedroom and a single room with a queen size bed, all with their own en-suite bathrooms. A spacious lounge area ties all the rooms together and becomes the perfect meeting spot for socialising. From this floor, the guests have direct access to the terrace and the stunning views of the property.
All the living rooms and the three main bedrooms overlook the sublime garden. Thanks to the large windows and the position of the villa, the natural sunlight penetrates into the rooms and makes them very bright. The guests can appreciate the breathtaking views of the garden from almost all of the rooms.
On the Bernini Historic Residence there is a beautiful private garden with nicely tended grounds and a swimming pool. It is secluded and entirely surrounded by trees in order to provide tranquility. During the hot summer months this becomes the ideal spot to cool off. The garden also accommodates a pool house with its own kitchen and bathroom.
This 200-hectare estate is immersed in a regional park and garden designed by the architect Luigi Bernini. The work conceived by the architect is the most significant example of symbolic gardens from the 17th century, thanks to its monumental complex consisting of fountains, streams, waterfalls and fishponds. It is one of the largest and most beautiful period gardens in the world.
This park which is open to the public also offers a 1,5 km long labyrinth and 60 spectacular white statues carved in Istrian stone.
When the garden is closed to the public the guests of the villa can enjoy this baroque dream entirely for themselves.
Located in Padua, 45 minutes from Venice, the villa is well situated for exploring some of Italy’s most beautiful spots. For someone looking to escape the crowds, be surrounded by nature yet easily reach interesting attractions, this location is optimal.
The thermal spas of “Terme di Abano” and “Galzignano” are both located nearby where guests can enjoy a relaxing moment in a peaceful environment.
Located only 500 meters from the villa, there is a 27-holes golf club much appreciated by golf lovers.
The beautiful city of Padova, known for its frescoes as well as its great Basilica of St. Anthony from the 13th century, is situated 30 minutes away.
The famous city of Venezia situated above water, on top of 100 small islands where streets do not exist but are replaced by canals, is located 45 min from the villa.
Vicenza, situated one hour away, is full of picturesque parks, museums, churches among many other things. For those who are fond of prosecco, its area of production, Verona, is located 1 hour and 30 minutes from the villa. It is a trip well worth making.
