Ansedonia Swimming Pool Villa | Tuscany
“Follow in the footsteps of the stars of Old Hollywood and stay in the beautiful Ansedonia swimming pool villa, a stunning seafront property that guarantees a glamorous Tuscan holiday.”
The interiors of this Ansedonia swimming pool villa have a classic, elegant style. There are five double bedrooms and five bathrooms. The spacious living area is airy and bright with comfortable white sofas and a dining table and chairs. There are also stunning views of the garden and sea from the large windows. Moreover, there are plenty of external spaces where guests can enjoy an al fresco meal. These include a sun-drenched patio with breakfast table overlooking the sea. Guests will also find comfortable chairs and a table tucked away under a shady gazebo in the garden.
The villa is about 600 square meters in size. It is moreover built on one floor around a central patio, imitating the style of the houses of ancient Rome. It has thick walls, several fireplaces and a beautiful covered terrace overlooking the sea. The location is perfect for an evening glass of wine overlooking a breathtaking ocean sunset. Furthermore the villa has private access to the sea. As well as this, guests have a private swimming pool. There is also a cleaning service and chef (for 3 meals a day) included in the price, providing everything you need for a luxurious and memorable holiday.
The villa is in a residential area very close to the lovely sandy beach of Feniglia. Here, 7 kilometres of sand dunes stretch along the coastline. On one side pine trees border the beach and on the other, crystal-clear sea. This seaside paradise is between Argentario and Maremma, two other exceptionally pretty locations.
The Mediterranean-style Ansedonia swimming pool villa was built in 1956. It is on a hillside sloping down to the sea in a private terraced garden. The surrounding land is richly planted with olive trees, junipers and Mediterranean pines winding around elegant lawns, and the garden itself was designed by the well-known landscape architect Pietro Porcinai. The villa is situated just a few metres from the sea with two private jetties and sunbathing platforms. It boasts spectacular views over the bay of the Feniglia Nature Reserve which stretches 7 kilometres. The beach traces the Monte Argentario promontory up to the island of Giannutri. This famous island was once a holiday spot for some of the most important leaders of the Roman Empire, and is home to an ancient Roman villa.
Many famous names from the world of arts and cinema, such as Leonard Bernstein, Alfred Hitchcock and Lauren Bacall, as well as business leaders and members of the European aristocracy, have stayed at the Ansedonia swimming pool villa.
